Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Store Supervisor to support our retail team and oversee daily operations at our store. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining the overall organisation of the store. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with strong leadership and organisational skills to contribute to the growth and success of our retail business.

Duties

Lead, motivate, and support the store manager to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, stock management, and merchandising.
Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and optimise store performance.
Oversee inventory control, ordering, and stock replenishment to ensure product availability.
Provide training and support to staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service standards.
Maintain a welcoming store environment through effective visual merchandising and organisation.
Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally via phone or in person.
Analyse sales data and prepare reports for senior management to inform decision-making.
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Foster a positive team environment through effective communication, organisation, and leadership.

Qualifications

Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role within a retail environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous.
Demonstrable organisational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and administrative tasks.
Experience in sales management, stock control, and visual presentation techniques.
Proficient in time management with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure.
Good phone etiquette with strong interpersonal skills for customer engagement.
Management qualification or relevant administrative experience is desirable but not essential.
Organised, proactive, with a passion for delivering excellent customer experiences.
