DryHaus is a fast-growing specialist in damp proofing, condensation control, timber preservation, and property improvement solutions based in Manchester.

We help homeowners protect and improve their properties through industry-leading treatments and exceptional customer service.

We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Office Administrator to become a key member of our team in our new Manchester office.

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Office Administrator / Office Manager to join our office based at M12 area.

This is a varied role requiring someone who can confidently manage the day-to-day running of the office, support management, oversee recruitment, and ensure the business operates efficiently whilst being the first point of call to the Director.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day administration of the office.
Maintain accurate customer records, databases, and documentation.
Manage recruitment, including advertising vacancies, screening CVs, arranging interviews, and onboarding new employees.
Answer incoming telephone calls professionally and confidently.
Welcome customers, suppliers, and visitors in a professional manner.
Liaise with surveyors, installers, suppliers, and management to ensure smooth daily operations.
Prepare documents, reports, and correspondence using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Maintain filing systems and ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately.
Support Director with general office management and business administration.
Identify opportunities to improve office procedures and efficiency.

Essential Requirements

Previous experience in administration/office management or senior office administration is preferred.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Experience coordinating multiple tasks and managing workloads effectively.
Previous recruitment or HR administration essential.
Confident speaking on the telephone with customers, suppliers, and applicants.
Professional and confident when dealing with people face-to-face.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
A positive, proactive attitude with excellent problem-solving skills.

Desirable

Experience within the construction, home improvement, property, or trades sector.
Experience using CRM systems and QuickBooks.
Knowledge of scheduling field-based staff.
