Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various sites. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your electrical expertise in a dynamic environment, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. The position requires a proactive approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, systems, and equipment in accordance with relevant regulations and safety standards.
Troubleshoot electrical faults and perform repairs efficiently to minimise downtime.
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to complete installations accurately.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation and maintenance tasks.
Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they escalate.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety legislation, maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
Keep detailed records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and replacements.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols.
Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, as well as power tools including drills and saws.
Strong electrical experience with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQ in Electrical Installation or equivalent recognised certification.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude towards troubleshooting issues.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or collaboratively within a team environment.
Good organisational skills with attention to detail in completing tasks efficiently and safely.

Pay: £60.00-£80.00 per hour
