The Role: Chef de Partie / Sous Chef

We are seeking a passionate and hardworking Sous Chef or experienced Kitchen Assistant to become an essential part of our kitchen. If you have a minimum of 2 years of professional kitchen experience, a positive attitude, and a genuine love for food, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items, ensuring high quality and consistent presentation.
Assist efficiently with all food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations at all times, cleaning utensils and cookware when necessary.
Collaborate with the team: to ensure quick and smooth service during busy periods.
Strictly follow all food safety and hygiene standards.

Requirements

Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
Cuisine Knowledge: Previous experience in an Italian kitchen or a strong working knowledge of Italian/Sicilian ingredients is highly advantageous.
Attitude: A positive attitude and a strong work ethic are essential.
Pace: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility: Available for morning/afternoon shifts, including weekends.
