The venue is a complete evening experience, expanding over 2 floors with 2 terraces, main restaurant with an open plan kitchen, a large bar area and bar dining.

Summary

Join Gochu Ltd as a Bartender in our vibrant Poynton venue. Located in the heart of the town, this role is essential in delivering an exceptional evening experience that reflects our commitment to quality and innovative Japanese-inspired offerings.A food menu that brings traditional japanese elements together with modern cooking techniques that changes seasonally, along with a popular elegant cocktail menu with everyones favourite classics and a carefully crafted signature menu, showcasing premium ingredients, creative techniques and flair.

We are looking for outgoing and friendly individuals, who have a passion for great customer service and enjoy a high energy working environment to join our lovely team, where creativity and curiosity are encouraged.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages with precision and flair.
Curate new cocktails and specials for customers
Provide outstanding customer service to create a welcoming atmosphere.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area.
Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol licensing regulations.
Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service.
Manage multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
Assist in stock management and replenishment.
Contribute to the overall high-end service standards of Gochu Ltd.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar hospitality role.
Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixing techniques, and presentation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Knowledge of food safety standards.
Basic math skills for handling transactions.
Passion for Japanese-inspired cuisine and innovative service.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Up to £16.00 per hour
