Basic Wage + Shift Allowance

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to the handling and movement of goods. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Manage shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation and timely dispatch of products.
Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products to ensure compliance with standards.
Perform picking and packing tasks, preparing orders for shipment with precision.
Engage in heavy lifting and materials handling as required, ensuring safe practices are followed at all times.
Maintain an organised and clean workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Assist in stock management, including inventory counts and restocking as necessary.
Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues when needed.

Experience

Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
Familiarity with forklift operation is advantageous; certification is an advantage.
Experience with shipping/receiving processes and warehouse management systems is beneficial.
Strong physical fitness is essential due to the demands of heavy lifting and prolonged standing.
A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and teamwork is highly valued.
