Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Operations Manager to lead and optimize daily business operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee team management, sales strategies, and administrative functions to ensure smooth and efficient performance. Your leadership will inspire teams, enhance customer experience, and drive operational excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a proactive leader passionate about retail management and team development to make a significant impact within a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a bakery and hospitality setting is preferred.

Duties

Lead and supervise bakery teams, fostering a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, motivation, and high performance
Oversee a departmental managers, providing consistent support, feedback and guidance, and take the lead in enforcing standards and key KPI's
Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets while ensuring excellent customer service standards
Manage daily operational tasks including inventory control, stock replenishment, and administrative duties with precision and organization
Ensure adherence to company policies, health and safety regulations, and compliance standards across all store functions
Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members to support their professional growth
Proven management experience in a bakery or hospitality or a related field with demonstrated success in supervising teams and managing operations
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a collaborative team environment
Excellent communication skills, we have a diverse team and experience in other cultures and languages is desirable.
Experience in sales management, merchandising, and customer service excellence
Exceptional organisational skills with keen attention to detail and time management capabilities
Administrative experience including invoicing, reporting, understanding the P and L, stock takes, rota software and till EPOS.
Strong working knowledge of calculating GPs and costings.
Ability to handle phone etiquette professionally while managing multiple priorities effectively
Previous managment experience in hospitality management or similar roles is essential; familiarity with inventory systems is a plus
