To manage the on-site operational resources (people & supply chains) in order to implement the delivery plan for the assigned project - safely, on time, to the required quality, whilst maintaining customer satisfaction and delivery in accordance to the project scope.

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee retrofit and construction projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

You’ll manage site operations, teams and supply chains, while maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery

· Deliver projects safely, on time, within budget and to required quality standards

· Implement project plans in line with contractual requirements

· Maintain accurate site records, reports and compliance documentation

· Plan and coordinate labour, materials and resources

Health & Safety

· Ensure full compliance with H&S legislation, CDM regulations and company policies

· Promote a strong safety culture across all site activities

Team & Resource Management

· Lead, manage and motivate site teams and subcontractors

· Monitor performance, productivity and resource efficiency

· Ensure workforce capability and compliance

Client & Stakeholder Management

· Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and partners

· Provide regular updates on project progress and performance

Commercial Awareness

· Support budget control and cost management

· Assist with valuations, variations and reporting

Essential:

· Proven experience managing social housing or refurbishment projects (£100k–£4m)

· Strong knowledge of construction management and CDM regulations

· CITB SMSTS qualification

· First Aid (or working towards)

· Asbestos Awareness & Manual Handling

· Strong leadership and communication skills

· IT literate (Excel, Word etc.)

· Flexible and willing to travel regionally
