We are currently looking for an IP Paralegal to join our Manchester office.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist lawyers with the preparation and filing of trade mark applications, oppositions, and renewals
Drafting cease and desist letters and handling infringement cases
Legal research
Assist with business development, including preparation for pitches
Conduct trade mark searches and provide analysis on potential conflicts and availability
Support in the drafting and review of IP agreements and legal documents
Manage and update client trade mark portfolios and databases
Assist in the preparation of litigation documents and case files for IP disputes
Liaise with clients, trade mark offices, and foreign associates to ensure smooth case management
Provide general administrative support to the IP team, including scheduling meetings and maintaining client correspondence

Requirements:

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in legal document preparation
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a client-focused approach
Strong academic record
Working from the Manchester office at least three days per week
