Toomey Motor Group incorporates dealerships for, Vauxhall, Renault, Nissan, Dacia, Peugeot, Citroen, MG and Hyundai within the Southend, Basildon and Brentwood locations.

Required for this expanding company is one Customer Relations Advisor to join our already thriving team located in Southend on Sea. We are looking for Automotive industry professionals with a background in customer services, who are target driven, with a fantastic telephone manner.

The Customer’s experience is vitally important and therefore this role will find you dealing with a wide range of queries in a professional and prompt manner via telephone, email.

You will be working in a faced paced, dynamic environment, and continuously raising the bar on customer experience.

To maintain this service, we require applicants that possess a ‘Can do’ and flexible attitude, with a strong customer focused background. We are looking for an individual that has a real passion for providing exceptional customer service. You will have the ability to go that extra mile, ensuring queries are answered and resolved to the best of your ability.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

Proven experience in customer relations or a related field, preferably within the automotive industry, with excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Strong IT organisational skills with attention to detail.

Ability to up sell and retain a booking using soft sales skills. A good telephone manner with the ability to resolve difficult calls with potentially upset and distressed clients. Able to work effectively as an individual as well as part of a team.

Ability to navigate and resolve customer issues efficiently, aiming for swift and satisfactory resolutions and collating feedback and data for analysis.
Contacting customers to advise of impending works that need completion, ensuring that our customers experience a professional and robust service from us by reaching out to retain business.
Liaising with the Service teams, Part teams and the Management team to ensure a smooth experience for the customer.
Contributing to team targets alongside SLA's and KPI's set out monthly
Monitoring and responding to customers online, actively engaging to maintain a positive online reputation.
