Full job description

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and commercially focused Key Account Manager to join our team and manage and develop key customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and develop existing customer accounts, ensuring growth and budget targets are achieved.
Identify and develop new business opportunities across existing and new markets.
Build strong relationships with customers and provide technical and commercial support.
Promote existing and new products and identify opportunities for growth.
Visit existing and prospective customers to understand requirements, provide quotations and support ongoing business.
Support customer projects from initial enquiry through to completion, ensuring timescales and budgets are met.
Monitor market and industry trends to identify new opportunities.
Provide regular account, sales and growth updates to the management team.
Work closely with Production, Quality, Customer Services and global sales and technical teams.
Provide support with quotations, technical queries and customer-specific projects.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

Proven experience in Key Account Management, Sales or Business Development, preferably within a technical/manufacturing environment.
Strong commercial and customer relationship skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills.
The ability to understand technical requirements and develop commercial solutions.
A proactive, results-driven approach.
