The company is a leading player in the hospitality and leisure sector. It is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and is looking to develop the career and experience. We are looking for a Senior Accounts Assistant to join our team in NW London.

Role

Reporting to our Management Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring that transactions are processed in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and reconcile accounts receivable transactions.
Liaise with customers to ensure monies are received on time
Assist with carrying out stock checks
Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Prepare bank reconciliations and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
Perform any other duties related to accounting and finance as assigne

Qualifications:

Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is desirable.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software is preferable and Microsoft Excel.

About you:

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, good organisational and time management skills.
Be a team player with a strong work ethic and have a positive attitude
Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and confidence, and to be part of a team.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills are a pre-requisite

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 3:00pm.
