Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our office by performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. This role requires excellent phone etiquette, proficiency in data entry, and familiarity with Microsoft office. The Office Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting our team and enhancing overall productivity.

The Applicant should have:

A good understanding of Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel etc.
Previous experience with SAGE 50 data inputting or similar is preferred but not required
Be able to work on your own initiative.
Be able to work well with others in the office.
Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position is desirable.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
A keen eye for detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy in all tasks.

What will you be doing?

The role will be varied and include, but is not limited to the following:

Placing warranty and chargeable service calls and deal with engineers.
Oversee customer service requirements.
Enter purchase ledger details into our system.
Upload purchase invoices onto SAGE 50.
Produce reports as required.
Purchase ledger administration.
Place purchase orders with suppliers.
Managing supplier information and relationships.
Typing quotations.
Provide any required information to managing directors.
General office admin duties.
Work closely with other staff members in a small team.

Hours are full time Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and a 4pm finish on Fridays.
