Job Description

At GE Vernova Power Conversion, we provide electrification solutions that enable customers to power energy-intensive operations while improving energy efficiency. We are recognized for delivering high-performance electrical systems and solutions across the marine, energy, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.

We are looking for a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives are achieved while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and employee development.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise daily production activities to achieve manufacturing schedules and monthly production targets.
Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with EHS policies and procedures.
Drive quality excellence by ensuring products meet required quality standards.
Allocate work effectively and optimize manpower utilization to maximize operational efficiency.
Monitor production performance and support cost control against budget targets.
Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Fulfilment, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to meet production and customer requirements.
Develop a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Lead Lean initiatives, including 5S, waste reduction, process improvements, and operational efficiency projects.
Support the development, coaching, and performance management of production employees, including skills assessments and development discussions.
Manage employee relations matters in partnership with HR, where required.
Coordinate contractor activities in line with site requirements.
Provide operational support and cover for peers as needed.
Complete production reporting and other management activities as required.
Undertake additional reasonable responsibilities in line with business needs.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university is preferred but not essential.
Experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally involving rotating machinery or electrical manufacturing.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a fast-paced production environment.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to prioritize workload and meet production deadlines.
Good computer literacy, including familiarity with manufacturing systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions while also taking initiative independently.
