Human Resources Advisor

Location: Trafford Park, Manchester, M17 1JT, United Kingdom

We have an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Advisor to join our team at BH House, the Head Office of Britannia Hotels. . The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions. This position requires a strong understanding of HR processes, together with excellent communication skills.

Your duties will include:

Managing a varied caseload of approximately 20–30 HR cases, including workplace investigations, disciplinary hearings, grievances and employee welfare matters.
Providing advice and guidance to Line Managers on HR policies, employment law and HR best practice.
Preparing and issuing formal HR documentation in line with company procedures.
Chairing formal hearings where required, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment legislation.
Supporting HR projects and initiatives across the business.
Maintaining accurate and confidential HR records.

The successful candidate will have:

A minimum CIPD Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).
Previous experience handling a wide range of employee relations cases, including investigations, disciplinary hearings and grievances.
A sound understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy and varied workload.
The ability to build effective working relationships with managers and colleagues at all levels.
