Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Experienced Digger Driver to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will operate heavy machinery to assist with excavation, site preparation, and material transportation, ensuring projects progress smoothly and efficiently. Your expertise will contribute to building infrastructure, commercial developments, and other large-scale construction projects. Duties

Operate excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, tankers, horizontal drilling rigs, and paving machines with precision and safety in mind
Perform site excavation, grading, trenching, and material movement to prepare construction sites for development
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met
Collaborate with project managers and team members to execute construction plans efficiently
Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure work environment on-site
Assist with the setup of construction equipment and materials at various locations across the project site
Document operational activities and report any equipment issues or safety concerns promptly

Experience

Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, tankers, horizontal drills, and paving equipment
Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment systems and troubleshooting techniques
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience driving large vehicles in a construction setting
Extensive construction site experience with an understanding of safety procedures and site logistics
Familiarity with Caterpillar (CAT) machinery or similar brands is highly desirable
Hands-on experience in excavation projects involving horizontal drilling or paving operations is a plus
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining high safety standards
