We provide a person centred service, tailor made to the clients needs. To enable us to meet demand we are currently recruiting Full and Part time Care Assistants to enable our clients to live a full, happy and independent life at home.

Job Description

WE REQUIRE APPLICANTS TO HAVE A GOOD LEVEL OF SPOKEN AND WRITTEN ENGLISH AND WE DO NOT OFFER SPONSORSHIP

The following list gives examples of the type of duties you may undertake. All of these should be done in a manner which encourages service users towards the maximum degree of independence and activity appropriate to their abilities;

Assisting getting up in the morning including washing/bathing and dressing and maintaining personal appearance
Assisting with undressing and getting to bed in the evening
Assisting with preparation of meals, drinks and snacks when necessary
Provide assistance with toileting and changing clothes and/or bedding where necessary
To maintain commodes and wash clothes and bed linen when necessary
Provide assistance with other tasks of personal daily living that the service user cannot manage and provide general support as part of a caring team
Assist and encourage the management of medication or administer where necessary and appropriate, and monitoring health related conditions such as dietary & fluid intake.
To help service users with mobility difficulties, or other physical disabilities, including incontinence. To help in the use of aids and other personal equipment.

Home care assistants are required to work a variety of shifts through the week compromising of mornings, lunches, teas and evenings and ALTERNATE WEEKENDS in the Scarborough area. We are a very flexible employer and try to accommodate hours where we can. Various hours available, varied clients, experience is a bonus but not essential as full training and support is provided including the Care Certificate and the Diploma 2,3 &4 in Adult Care, uniform and PPE is provided, competitive WEEKLY pay and petrol allowance, your own transport is ESSENTIAL Please contact us to enquire or to arrange an interview.
