Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to inventory management, order fulfilment, and maintaining a safe working environment. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting. Will also involve some customer facing counter work and sales. Could lead to full time for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Receive and inspect incoming goods for quality and accuracy.
Organise and store products in designated areas within the warehouse.
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stocktaking as required.
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely (training may be provided).
Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse space to promote safety.
Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.

Experience

Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not essential.
Familiarity with inventory management systems or basic computer skills would be an advantage.
A valid forklift licence is desirable but not mandatory; training can be provided for suitable candidates.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are essential.
Physical fitness is required as the role involves lifting heavy items and being on your feet for extended periods.
