About Sheerwater Glass:
Sheerwater Glass is a well-established company in the window, door, and conservatory industry, known for our high standards and reliable service. Based in Guildford, we have been operating for over 50 years, serving a diverse range of clients including letting agencies, schools, garden centres and more.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a multi-skilled tradesperson to join our small works team. This role requires a broad skill set in servicing, maintaining, and installing UPVC and aluminium windows, doors, and conservatory roofs. The ideal candidate will be versatile and capable of handling a variety of tasks to meet our clients’ needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Service, adjust, and maintain UPVC and aluminium windows, doors, and conservatory roofs.
Install replacement double-glazed units (DGUs) and carry out associated repairs.
Service and replace locking mechanisms, handles, and hinges on windows and doors.
Conduct detailed surveys to identify necessary repairs and parts.
Deliver high-quality customer service and maintain clear communication with clients and colleagues.
Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment on-site.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the window and door industry with a broad range of skills in glazing and general trades.
GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
Fluent spoken and written English, with strong communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and a customer-focused approach.
Full UK driving licence.
