Job Title: Team Leader Operations
Location: Sheffield, S9 1BY
Salary: Up to £32,000
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Full Time, 37,5 Hours

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced operations leader with a strong background in managing customer service, administration, and scheduling teams. Skilled in driving team performance, improving operational efficiency, and delivering high-quality service while fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing operations team.
Manage performance through coaching, feedback, and regular one-to-one meetings.
Oversee daily operations to ensure service, quality, and productivity targets are achieved.
Monitor KPIs and implement improvements to drive team performance.
Resolve escalated operational, customer, and people-related issues.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Build strong relationships across teams and communicate business objectives effectively.

Experience, skills and knowledge required for the role

Proven experience leading and developing teams in an operations or customer service environment.
Strong people management, coaching, and communication skills.
Ability to analyse problems, make sound decisions, and resolve issues effectively.
Experience monitoring KPIs and driving team performance.
Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high service standards.
Proficient in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office, with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
