Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively environment where your skills in serving and hospitality will be valued. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety and responsible alcohol service. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, engaging with customers, and ensuring all health and safety standards are maintained.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards.
Greet guests warmly and take their orders efficiently, ensuring prompt service.
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
Check identification to verify legal drinking age and promote responsible alcohol consumption.
Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the POS system.
Restock supplies as needed to ensure the bar is fully equipped at all times.
Engage with guests to create a friendly atmosphere, enhancing their overall experience.
Follow all food safety regulations and health & safety procedures diligently.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or bar work is highly desirable.
Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is essential.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to serve customers courteously and efficiently.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy shifts.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
A friendly attitude with a genuine interest in hospitality and guest satisfaction. This role offers an engaging environment where your hospitality skills can shine, contributing to memorable guest experiences while developing your career within the industry.
