RECRUITMENT LEAD

Lead Talent Acquisition for a Growing Care Organisation

Location: Hedge End, Southampton
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)

As Recruitment Lead, you will be accountable for the design, performance and execution of the recruitment function, ensuring the business attracts and retains high-quality talent while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.

You will lead and develop the recruitment team, provide strategic recruitment advice to senior stakeholders, and use data-driven insights to continuously improve hiring performance.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and deliver recruitment strategies aligned with business growth and workforce planning.
Lead, coach and support the recruitment team, driving performance and continuous improvement.
Partner with HR and senior management to provide recruitment expertise and workforce planning insights.
Oversee recruitment systems, processes and KPIs to ensure an efficient, high-quality hiring experience.
Monitor market trends, salary benchmarking and recruitment performance metrics to inform hiring decisions.
Manage team resources, absence and holiday planning to ensure consistent recruitment delivery.
Build and maintain talent pipelines to support current and future hiring needs.

What We're Looking For

Essential

Proven experience leading a recruitment or talent acquisition function in a fast-paced environment (minimum 2 years).
Strong knowledge of recruitment strategy, workforce planning and talent attraction.
Excellent stakeholder management, analytical and communication skills.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence using recruitment data and reporting.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, present insights to leadership teams and drive results.
Full UK Driving Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.

Desirable

Experience using Access Recruit and Screening systems.
Previous recruitment experience within the Health & Social Care sector.
Experience managing high-volume recruitment campaigns.
Knowledge of ATS platforms and recruitment technology.
