Event Staff – Overseeing family events and workshops

Independent Events is looking for friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Event Staff to join our team for a range of exciting events.

Our events are often very family focussed and we love to work with people from a performance background, this is required for some but not all jobs.

Location: Central Southampton
Pay: Rates starting from £80 per day

4 lives hours + set up & pack down

Dates: Saturdays in August

8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th

Time: Exact times TBC daytime only

We are currently prioritising applicants who are available for all dates, with further opportunities available throughout the summer and beyond. However please do still apply if you have good but not all availability.

You'll be supporting a variety of live events, brand activations and family experiences, engaging with members of the public and ensuring every event runs smoothly.

The Role

Welcome and engage with visitors.
Support the delivery of live events and promotional activities.
Create a fun, friendly and professional atmosphere.
Assist with event set-up and pack-down where required.
Represent Independent Events and our clients to a high standard.

What We're Looking For

Confident and outgoing individuals.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Reliable, punctual and professional.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous event, promotional, customer service or performance experience is desirable but not essential.
