Full job description

Medical Support Offshore (MSOS) Ltd provides comprehensive, worldwide medical support for an extensive range of clients, based on land, at sea and in the air.

Working as part of our Production team, the Production Assistant will play an essential role in the day-to-day operations of the business. We are looking for an adaptable individual who can thrive in a fast paced working environment and demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills alongside a sharp eye for detail. We are seeking an individual with proven success in a stock management role and an ambition to continually develop.

The role will provide an opportunity to learn and develop, with potential for progression within the company.

Main Responsibilities:

· Assembling medical kits and allocating goods to client orders;

· Stock management, stock control and regular stock taking;

· Ensuring ongoing compliance with regulations;

· Processing of stock inwards, ensuring all products are booked into the management system in a timely manner, along with the necessary supplier paperwork;

· Ensuring quality checks and stock control processes are performed on incoming products;

· Working closely with the procurement team and assisting with procurement if required;

· Processing POs and liaising with approved suppliers;

· Coordinating despatch of client orders, including all necessary outbound transport paperwork;

· Liaising with transport providers to ensure timely collection and delivery of client orders;

Place of work:

· MSOS HQ, Saxon Wharf, Southampton.

Hours of work:

· 0800-1700 Monday to Friday;

· Lunch break of 30 mins included in the hours.
