Job Overview

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Kitchen Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a vibrant, efficient, and welcoming kitchen environment. In this role, you will support the culinary staff by assisting with meal preparation, food safety, and maintaining cleanliness standards. Duties

Assist with food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and standards
Support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of work areas
Help with food safety protocols, including proper storage, handling, and labeling of ingredients
Prepare ingredients such as chopping vegetables or portioning supplies for service
Support serving activities by ensuring timely delivery of meals and assisting with plating when needed
Keep kitchen equipment clean, sanitized, and well-maintained for optimal operation
Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for everyone

Experience

Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is advantageous
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices is highly desirable
Experience in meal or food preparation helps in understanding fast-paced kitchen workflows
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately are essential for success in this role
