Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic restaurant environment, providing exceptional service while maintaining high standards of food safety and hospitality.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards.
Take orders from guests accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies.
Manage cash transactions accurately using the POS system.
Engage with guests in a friendly manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
Monitor guest behaviour to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-service.

Experience

Previous experience working in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous.
Strong serving skills with the ability to handle multiple orders efficiently.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills accurately.
Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks during busy hours.
Good communication skills and a personable approach to guest interactions are essential.
