Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Subway Sandwich Artist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing fresh sandwiches and salads, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organised work environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation and customer engagement within a fast-paced restaurant setting. The successful applicant will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for all customers while ensuring food safety standards are upheld.

Responsibilities

Prepare sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to company standards and recipes
Serve customers efficiently and courteously at the counter or drive-thru
Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including sanitising surfaces and utensils regularly
Ensure food safety protocols are followed at all times
Upsell additional menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
Manage time effectively during busy periods to minimise wait times
Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation throughout shifts
Follow health and safety regulations diligently, including proper food handling procedures

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation or restaurant service is desirable but not essential
Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Basic maths skills for handling transactions and portion control
Experience in kitchen environments or culinary roles is advantageous
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently during peak hours
Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner
Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
