Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, organised, and professional Dental Receptionist to join Bricketwood Dental Practice. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk. Excellent communication, administrative skills, and a patient-focused attitude are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and welcome patients in a professional and friendly manner
Answer phone calls and respond to patient enquiries
Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the dental software system
Process payments, invoices, and insurance information
Coordinate with dentists, hygienists, and clinical staff regarding schedules
Handle patient check-in and check-out procedures
Maintain a clean and organised reception area
Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with data protection policies

Requirements

Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer service role (dental or medical experience preferred)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
Proficiency in computer systems and appointment scheduling software
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Ability to work well in a team environment
Ability to work one Saturday per month 8.45am - 12.45pm

This positions start date would be Monday 14th September 2026

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
