BM Care Group is seeking an experienced, commercially aware and values-driven Registered Manager to lead the commissioning and opening of Bramcote Hills Care Home.

Bramcote Hills is a newly furnished, currently vacant 63-bed residential care home. This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished care professional to take ownership of the service from its initial commissioning phase, build a high-performing team and establish a strong culture of quality, accountability and person-centred care.

As a growing care provider, BM Care Group is ambitious and focused. We are committed to developing services that achieve and sustain strong regulatory outcomes through robust governance, clear oversight, effective leadership and continuous improvement.

We are particularly interested in speaking with managers who have experience of commissioning or opening a care home, growing occupancy and achieving or maintaining a GOOD CQC rating.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a significant opportunity for a confident and motivated leader to shape Bramcote Hills Care Home from the outset. You will have the autonomy to build strong foundations for the service while receiving support from the directors and senior leadership team of BM Care Group.

THE ROLE

As Registered Manager, you will hold full operational responsibility for Bramcote Hills Care Home, including care delivery, administration, hospitality, maintenance, recruitment and people management. You will ensure that the home:

Provides safe, effective, responsive and person-centred care

Operates in accordance with CQC regulations and all relevant legislation
Maintains clear governance, oversight and regulatory readiness
Delivers agreed quality, financial and occupancy targets
Maintains appropriate staffing levels and workforce competencies
Responds effectively to incidents, safeguarding concerns, complaints and emerging risks
Builds positive relationships with residents, relatives, professionals and external stakeholders
Maintains a welcoming, comfortable and well-presented environment

You will also oversee audits, monthly key performance indicators, service improvement planning and action plans, ensuring that identified improvements are completed and sustained.

ABOUT YOU

You will have previous experience managing a residential care service within a regulated environment. Experience of commissioning, opening or significantly developing a care home would be highly desirable. A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, or an equivalent qualification, is essential. Applicants who are currently working towards the qualification may also be considered where they have substantial relevant management experience.
