Driver/ Sales Assistant

Dulux Decorator Centre
Twickenham, TW13 6DB

£13.89 per hour & Sales-Based Bonus
30 hours per week, with up to 10 hours overtime available, subject to business needs.

Job Purpose

You will play a key role in the success of your store by collaborating with instore colleagues and our UK Sales Team to provide a memorable customer experience to professionals & DIY enthusiasts. We will look to you to use your people skills to help maximize the sales and market share of AkzoNobel products and accessories in your store. You will carry out customer deliveries to homes and businesses too.

This is a 30hr per week role, with the opportunity for up to 10 additional overtime hours per week, subject to business needs. You need to be available to work shifts between 7am and 5pm Monday-Friday, and the occasional Saturday morning (8am–12pm) when required.

Job Responsibilities

Play an active part in engagement planning & monthly store meeting sessions.
Ensure customers receive a warm welcome, an informed conversation & personalized proposal.
Use our client service tools to ensure a consistent customer experience.
Support your store’s monthly customer contact plan.
Follow the merchandising plan to restock the shop floor
Load the van & plan delivery routes.
Develop your skills & encourage colleagues to do so using our training tools.

Job Requirements

Proven experience in a customer service/retail role.
Valid driving license.
Enjoys a collaborative working environment where supporting colleagues is key.
Calm under pressure.
