Spinal Injury Carer – Bath

Are you an experienced and compassionate Spinal Injury Carer looking for a rewarding role in Bath? This role offers competitive rates of £16.00 - £20.00 per hour, ongoing training, and the chance to make a real difference.

As a Care Quality Commission (CQC) registered agency, Coyle Homecare have been a leading provider of homecare services in the UK for over 20 years. We are actively seeking dedicated individuals to join our team, to provide essential care and support to children and adults in the comfort of their home environment.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Spinal Injury Carer with Coyle Homecare, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to service users. You will be expected to fulfil the following responsibilities:

Providing full personal care and daily living support.
Assisting with manual handling and hoist transfers.
Administering medication in line with care plans and company procedures.
Delivering catheter, bowel and bladder care.
Recognising and managing Autonomic Dysreflexia (AD).
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date care records.
Building positive relationships with the service user while promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing.

Key Job Requirements:

To be considered for the role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Previous experience providing care for individuals with spinal injuries.
Experience recognising and managing Autonomic Dysreflexia (AD).
Medication competency and manual handling training.
Full UK driving licence.
Calm, professional and reliable approach to care delivery.
A positive, bubbly personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.

Shift Availability:

This role involves supporting a middle-aged gentleman with a spinal injury on a 1:1 basis in Chippenham.

Available shifts include:

Day Shifts: 9:00am – 9:00pm
Waking Night Shifts: 9:00pm – 9:00am

Shifts are available 7 days per week.
