Children's Residential Support Worker - Cullompton, Devon

£36,139 per annum. Full-time (40 hours) and Part-time (30 hours) available

Please note: Applicants must be aged 23 or over and hold a full UK driving licence, as you'll be required to drive company vehicles.

We're an independent care provider in Devon, supporting young people within our welcoming, 2-bed Ofsted registered children's home.

We believe great residential childcare is built on relationships. That's why we create a calm, supportive home where young people feel safe, valued and able to thrive, and where our team has the time to build genuine, meaningful connections.

What you'll be doing

No two days are the same.

One day you might be helping a young person get ready for school, cooking dinner together, heading to the gym or swimming, playing games or enjoying a day out. Another day you could be supporting them through difficult emotions, encouraging independence or simply being there to listen.

You'll also:

Support daily routines, education and life skills.
Plan activities and help create positive memories.
Maintain a safe, welcoming and homely environment.
Complete care records and work closely with colleagues and professionals.
Safeguard young people and promote their wellbeing at all times.
Every interaction matters.

What we're looking for

We're looking for caring, resilient people who genuinely want to make a difference.

You'll need:

A passion for supporting children and young people.
A calm, positive and compassionate approach.
Flexibility to work shifts, including sleep-ins, as part of a 24/7 service.
Basic IT skills.
A full UK driving licence.

Experience is welcomed, but your values and commitment are what matter most.
