Its product portfolio covers equipment needs for modern Broiler, Commercial Layer, Rearing, and Breeder farms, helping sites achieve high performance standards. Jansen UK Ltd operates a Tiverton warehousing facility that stocks a large variety of spare parts for next-day delivery. The company also supports customers through a nationwide network of engineers offering installation, maintenance, system support, and repair services.

About Jansen UK Ltd

Jansen UK Ltd is a specialist supplier and installer of poultry equipment. We are looking for a motivated and reliable Poultry Equipment Fitter to join our installation team, working on poultry farms across the UK.

The Role

As a Poultry Equipment Fitter, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing poultry equipment to the highest standards. The role involves regular travel and working away from home when required.

Your duties will include:

Installing Nest Boxes poultry feeding, drinking, ventilation, and housing systems.
Reading and following installation drawings and specifications.
Using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Carrying out maintenance and repairs on existing equipment.
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
Working closely with colleagues and customers on site.
Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional working environment.

Requirements

Essential:

Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work at height and in agricultural environments.
Full UK driving licence.
Willingness to travel throughout the UK and stay away from home when required.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Desirable:

Experience installing poultry or agricultural equipment.
Telehandler or forklift experience.
Electrical or fabrication experience.
