Artemis is looking for an experienced, organised and commercially minded Operations & Sales Coordinator to become a key member of our team. This varied, customer-facing role sits at the centre of the business and helps bring together Sales, Service Delivery and Finance. You will take ownership of essential administration, ordering, supplier coordination and office operations, while helping us deliver a professional and responsive experience for our customers.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership and wants to shape a role with genuine scope to progress into Operations Management, including ISO, compliance and Health & Safety responsibilities.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales administration & customer support
- Prepare sales contracts, quotations and customer documentation accurately and promptly.
- Take administrative tasks away from the Sales team so they can focus on customer engagement and winning new business.
- Support customer onboarding and maintain accurate records using Microsoft 365 and internal systems.
- Manage smaller customer accounts, build positive relationships and identify appropriate run-rate or additional business opportunities.
- Act as a professional, friendly point of contact for customers and handle routine enquiries confidently.
Order processing & supplier coordination
- Raise purchase orders and place orders for mobile phones, IT equipment and related services.
- Liaise with suppliers, track orders and follow up proactively on deliveries or delays.
- Keep colleagues and customers informed of order progress and resolve routine delivery issues.
- Maintain clear purchasing and order records, checking that requirements are complete and accurate.
- Free up technical and commercial colleagues by taking day-to-day ownership of ordering and supplier communication.
Office & business operations
- Ensure the office is well organised, professional and runs smoothly day to day.
- Order stationery, refreshments and other office supplies, and manage incoming and outgoing post.
- Coordinate routine office administration and support wider business activities when needed.
- Improve communication and information flow between Sales, Service Delivery and Finance.
- Spot practical opportunities to improve processes and take responsibility for putting better ways of working in place.
Business improvement, ISO & compliance
- Support operational projects and continuous improvement across the business.
- Develop knowledge of Artemis’s ISO management systems and assist with maintaining records, evidence and actions.
- Help coordinate Health & Safety administration and compliance activities as the role develops.
- Work towards taking ownership of ISO and compliance administration, with support and training.

Essential Requirements
- Minimum three years’ experience in an office-based administration, operations, sales support, customer service or business support role.
- Degree educated. Applications are welcome from all degree disciplines, with English, Mathematics, Economics or Business Studies particularly relevant.
- Demonstrable experience communicating professionally with customers and suppliers.
- Strong administration, organisation, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.
- Ability to work independently, use sound judgement and take ownership of tasks.
- Ability to work full time from our office in Cuffley, Hertfordshire.

- The office is well organised and day-to-day administration is running smoothly.
- The Sales team has more time for customer engagement because routine administration is managed reliably.
- Ordering and supplier communication are handled proactively, freeing up time for Callum and the wider team.
- Positive working relationships have been established with a group of Artemis customers and key suppliers.
- Communication and handovers between Sales, Service Delivery and Finance are clearer and more consistent.
- Useful process improvements have been identified and implemented.
- ISO, compliance and Health & Safety administration is beginning to be owned as part of the role.

As your knowledge and responsibilities develop, there is potential to progress into a broader Operations Manager position encompassing office operations, supplier management, process improvement, ISO management systems, compliance and Health & Safety.
Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
