Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel premises. The successful candidate will lead a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring high standards of hygiene, organisation, and guest satisfaction. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in hospitality or janitorial services to advance their careers within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure efficient service delivery
Train, motivate, and support housekeeping staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and professionalism
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary
Develop work schedules and assign tasks to team members based on occupancy levels and operational needs
Address guest complaints or special requests promptly and professionally
Maintain accurate records of staff attendance, training, and performance evaluations
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless hotel operations

Qualifications

Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services, with previous supervisory responsibilities preferred
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of health and safety standards relevant to hospitality environments
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Hospitality experience is highly desirable, along with familiarity with industry cleaning protocols and equipment
