Job overview

The role requires the individual to provide high quality nursing care to patients and users of the endoscopy service, including gastrointestinal and respiratory investigations; participate in all aspects of endoscopy practice within the newly built state of the art endoscopy unit which opened on 21 September 2020.
It also requires the individual to work a 3 to 4-weekday roster per week.

Main duties of the job

Provides high quality nursing care to patients and users of the endoscopy service, including gastrointestinal and respiratory investigations on a 3 to 4-weekday roster per week.
Participates in all aspects of endoscopy practice within the purpose-built endoscopy unit.
Works in a responsible manner in relation to health and safety and risk management.
Contributes towards monitoring quality of service, including audits.
Works within policies, procedures and protocols against national and local guidelines.
