Full job description

Trimetals, a proud Blandford-based business known for excellence in manufacturing, is seeking an organised and customer-focused Sales Administrator to join our team.

The main responsibility of this role will be coordinating product deliveries by liaising with customers, couriers and our internal sales and production teams. You will also provide general administrative support throughout the sales process.

Responsibilities

Liaise with customers to arrange and confirm suitable delivery dates
Communicate with couriers regarding collections, deliveries and customer requirements
Book courier collections and deliveries using online courier portals
Create delivery notes and print courier and address labels
Monitor scheduled deliveries and deal with any dispatch or delivery-related issues
Keep customers updated regarding delivery arrangements, delays or changes
Assist with the preparation of sales proposals and quotations
Process sales orders accurately and efficiently
Handle customer enquiries and provide product information
Maintain and update customer records and databases
Generate reports using Operations II MRP software and Microsoft Office
Support the sales team with general administrative duties

Requirements

Previous experience in administration, customer service, sales support or dispatch coordination
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Ability to prioritise tasks and manage several deliveries or enquiries at once
Confidence communicating with customers, couriers and colleagues by telephone and email
Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Familiarity with accounting, MRP or courier booking portals would be advantageous
Basic IT knowledge to troubleshoot minor technical issues

Full training on our systems, products and equipment will be provided in-house.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Friday: 9:00 am to 4:30 pm
Lunch break: 30 minutes
