Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner (part-time) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. This role offers various hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment, with an emphasis on delivering high standards of cleanliness in a professional environment. Previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is essential. The position is ideal for those who take pride in their work and enjoy creating a tidy, welcoming space.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming of floors, surfaces, and fixtures.
Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and other communal areas to meet hygiene standards.
Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when stock levels are low.
Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties.
Ensure all cleaning equipment is used correctly and stored securely after use.

Qualifications

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is essential
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Reliable with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities.
Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks effectively throughout shifts.
Flexibility to work part-time hours as scheduled, including early mornings or late afternoons if required.
Must be able to cover holidays and sickness and bank holidays if required
