Full job description

Site Services Supervisor
Location: Westerleigh

To ensure all factory utilities, facilities and site services are available, maintained, and operating reliably so that production can run without interruption while meeting health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily site services operations ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient delivery utilities and facilities services.
Manage and develop site services team, driving strong performance, training compliance and adherence to site standards.
Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance activities to meet service level agreements and minimise operational disruption.
Conduct regular inspections and audits, ensuring prompt resolution of defects, risks and compliance issues.
Control site services budgets, monitor utility consumption, and identify cost-saving and sustainability opportunities.
Maintain accurate records, permits, and statutory documentation to support successful audits and regulatory compliance.
Support emergency response, business continuity, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance site performance and customer satisfaction.

Skills & Knowledge

Leadership, team supervision, coaching and performance management
Planned and reactive maintenance management
Facilities, HVAC, electrical and utility systems knowledge
Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) compliance
Risk assessments, permits to work and contractor management
Work planning, scheduling and resource allocation
CMMS systems and maintenance reporting
Budget control, procurement and cost management
KPI monitoring and continuous improvement
Problem-solving, decision-making and emergency response
Effective communication and stakeholder management
Quality, compliance and asset reliability management

Qualifications

City & Guilds Level 3 in Engineering Maintenance
Level 3 or 4 NVQ in Maintenance Operations
ILM Level 3 Award/Certificate/Diploma in Leadership & Management
IOSH Managing Safely
HACCP Level 3
Food Safety Level 3
HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
