Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Breakfast and After School Club Manager to lead our vibrant childcare programs. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of breakfast and after-school activities, ensuring a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children. Your leadership will inspire staff, coordinate activities, and maintain high standards of childcare. If you are passionate about working with children, possess excellent organizational skills, and thrive in a dynamic setting, this is the perfect opportunity to make a positive impact on young lives.

Duties

Plan, organize, and supervise breakfast and after-school club activities to promote fun, learning, and social development
Lead and motivate a team of childcare assistants and educators to deliver high-quality care
Ensure all safety protocols are followed rigorously to create a secure environment for children
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and daily needs
Manage daily operational tasks including attendance records, activity schedules, and meal arrangements
Maintain compliance with all licensing regulations and childcare standards while fostering a welcoming atmosphere

Qualifications

Proven experience in childcare, teaching, or similar roles working with children
Level 3 Childcare Qualification or Equivalent
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage staff effectively
Excellent communication skills in English
Valid driving license
Knowledge of child development principles and safety procedures
Ability to multitask efficiently in a lively environment while maintaining attention to detail
Passionate about nurturing children's growth and fostering positive relationships
Must have an Enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service, or be willing to undertake one.
