Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Trent Acres, Kings Bromley, DE13 7HR
Hours: 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 8.00am – 4.00pm
Salary: £23,638.00 per annum (not pro rata)
Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only
Start: September or earlier 2026

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of school life — supporting pupils in the classroom and beyond, helping them engage, achieve and grow. From delivering tailored support to creating hands-on learning experiences, no two days are the same. You’ll work alongside a dedicated team who will support your development, giving you the tools and training to succeed and progress in your career.

What You’ll Be Doing

Providing 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual pupil needs
Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging, creative lessons
Preparing learning materials and helping create stimulating environments
Promoting pupils’ emotional, social and physical wellbeing
Encouraging confidence, independence and positive engagement
Working collaboratively with teachers and colleagues to deliver consistent support

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who:

Is calm, kind, and passionate about supporting young people
Is flexible, adaptable, and ready to contribute across a variety of roles
Works well as part of a team and values collaboration
Takes initiative and responds confidently to individual pupil needs

Essential Qualification: GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent)
