Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Hearing and Earwax Removal Specialist at Worlingham Pharmacy, where your expertise will directly improve patients’ quality of life. In this vital role, you will provide professional ear health assessments, perform safe and effective earwax removal procedures, and educate clients on maintaining optimal ear hygiene. Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ ear health using physiological knowledge and medical terminology to identify blockages or issues
Perform safe and effective earwax removal procedures utilizing appropriate techniques and tools, adhering to safety protocols
Explain procedures clearly to clients, ensuring they understand the process and address any concerns with professionalism
Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, procedures performed, and treatment outcomes in compliance with clinic standards
Educate patients on ear hygiene practices, prevention strategies, and when to seek further medical attention
Assist in maintaining a clean, organized clinical environment that complies with health and safety regulations
Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless patient care and continuous improvement of service quality

Skills

Strong understanding of physiology related to ear anatomy and function
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to audiology and ear health
Familiarity with anatomy knowledge necessary for safe earwax removal procedures
Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly and empathetically to patients
Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining attention to safety protocols
Prior experience or certification in audiology or related healthcare fields is a plus but not required
