We're looking for a Quality & Compliance Specialist to join our growing team and help drive quality and compliance across an exciting and ever-growing product range. You'll work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure our products meet the highest quality and compliance standards, while helping us continuously improve the way we manage quality across the business.
From commercial catering equipment and workshop machinery to arcade machines, jukeboxes, hot tubs, pergolas and even fish tanks, no two days are the same!

What You'll Be DoingQuality & Compliance
- Support and take ownership of company compliance requirements, including EPR, WEEE, CBAM, Packaging Waste Regulations, ESG, supplier due diligence and ethical compliance
- Support product compliance activities including REACH, RoHS, CE/UKCA requirements, Declarations of Conformity, Technical Files, Safety Data Sheets, product testing and certification
- Ensure compliance documentation remains accurate, organised and audit-ready
- Work closely with suppliers to obtain and review compliance documentation
Drive Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with suppliers to improve product quality and resolve compliance issues
- Investigate customer complaints, identify root causes and support effective corrective actions
- Analyse trends and identify opportunities to improve product quality, supplier performance and internal processes
- Help shape and continuously improve our quality systems as the business grows
Stay Ahead
- Keep up to date with changes in UK and international legislation
- Develop your knowledge and expertise across product quality and compliance
- Support new product development and compliance projects across the business
What We're Looking For
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Experience or a genuine interest in Quality Assurance, Product Compliance, Technical Compliance or a similar area
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn
- Confidence communicating with colleagues, suppliers and stakeholders
- The ability to manage multiple priorities
- Good Microsoft Excel skills
Experience within product quality or compliance would be a real advantage, particularly knowledge of areas such as CE/UKCA, REACH, RoHS, WEEE or product testing and certification – but it isn't essential.
If you're earlier in your career and interested in developing within quality and compliance, please don't let a lack of direct experience stop you from applying. We're interested in potential as well as experience.
Working Hours & Location
This is afull-time, office-based role at our modern offices near York (YO60 6PG).
You'll work 37.5 hours per week, with flexible start and finish times between 8:00am and 9:30am, finishing between 4:00pm and 5:30pm, with either a 30-minute or 1-hour lunch break.
We're looking for someone who is based locally or within a comfortable commuting distance and enjoys working alongside a collaborative team where you'll build strong relationships, learn from experienced colleagues and make a real impact. Due to our location, your own transport is essential.
