About Us
iCademy Middle East is a private, US-curriculum online school serving students from Kindergarten through Grade 12 across the Arabian Gulf region and neighboring countries. We are part of the Pansophic Learning group and have been based in Dubai since 2007. We successfully educate over 1400 students and have enrolled over 6000 students. We have over 80 online teachers who are certified subject specialists, based regionally and in the US and Europe.
iCademy Middle East offers an internationally recognized curriculum designed for high interactivity, flexibility, and individualized learning pathways. Students who meet iCademy Middle East’s graduation requirements are eligible to receive a U.S.-accredited diploma. In addition to international and U.S. accreditations, iCademy Middle East is licensed by Dubai’s Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) and is accredited with NEASC (New England Association of Schools and Colleges) and provide NCAA eligible courses for athletes.

Key Responsibilities
- Teaches 2–3 core courses through the Learning Management System (LMS) for students in Grades K–5, as well as elective subjects as assigned by the Department Chair.
- Orients students to their courses, communicates requirements, sets and enforces deadlines and conducts instructional sessions weekly.
- Designs and maintains engaging, interactive, fun, and personalized homepage for all teaching courses that foster student participation and enthusiasm for learning.
- Supports SEN and ELL learners across the school.
- Utilizes student performance data to inform instructional planning and improve learning outcomes.
- Delivers individualized and differentiated instruction to help each student achieve curricular objectives in both live lessons and in courses.
- Supports parents by regularly communicating with them via email, google chat or video/phone calls. Supports student curricular and instructional issues, balances the flexibility of the curriculum with school policies and procedures.
- Assesses and grades student work within the given timeframe as per school policy (maximum of 3 days) and maintains accurate and up-to-date grade book through consistent checks and follow up.
- Alerts administrators to concerns about student performance and progress, maintains regular contact with students and families via the Virtual Classroom Environment.
- Supports students in setting up, maintaining and optimizing their learning environment for academic success.
- Provides basic technical support and troubleshooting assistance to students as needed.
- Attends and contributes to all staff meetings, professional development sessions, and collaborative school initiatives.
- Completes all end-of-semester grading, reporting, recordkeeping, and data storage requirements in accordance with school procedures.
- Leads a monthly student club and offers support for whole school events once per semester.
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Primary or Elementary Education or Kindergarten Education or a related field
- Valid teaching qualification / license
- Minimum 3 years of experience teaching Lower School students across core subject areas. The teacher will be responsible for teaching 2-3 courses in any of the Lower School subjects (Language Arts / Mathematics / Science / Social Studies / Electives)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience teaching students online / virtually
- Strong organizational and time-management skills

- Adaptability and problem-solving skills to support diverse learning needs
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency with educational learning platforms, technology-enhanced instruction and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and tools
- Commitment to student-centered learning and professional development
- Experience in learning management systems such as Canvas and Power School favorable.
- Knowledge of standardized testing tools eg. MAP tests.
- Experience teaching within an American and/or British curriculum framework
Pay: £3,000.00 per month
