About the Role

Sempre Digital Marketing and Growth Solutions UK Ltd is looking for an experienced, analytical and highly organised Marketing Operations Manager to oversee the systems, processes, reporting and operational frameworks that support effective digital marketing delivery.

The successful candidate will work across marketing, sales, analytics, content, technology and commercial teams to improve campaign workflows, maintain marketing technology platforms, strengthen data quality and ensure that marketing programmes are delivered efficiently and measured consistently.

You will take ownership of marketing operations processes from campaign planning and CRM management through reporting, automation, lead management and performance analysis. The role requires someone who can combine technical understanding with strong commercial judgement and stakeholder management.

This position is suitable for an experienced marketing operations or digital marketing professional who is ready to take broader responsibility for systems, processes, performance reporting and cross-functional marketing delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day marketing operations activities
Develop efficient marketing workflows and operating procedures
Coordinate campaign planning and delivery processes
Establish consistent standards for campaign execution
Manage marketing calendars and operational schedules
Coordinate activities across digital marketing channels
Support delivery of paid, organic, email and content campaigns
Monitor campaign readiness before launch
Maintain campaign approval and quality-control processes
Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend improvements
Manage marketing technology platforms
Maintain CRM and marketing automation systems
Oversee campaign and customer-data quality
Develop data-management standards for marketing teams
Monitor lead capture and routing processes
Maintain lead lifecycle and status definitions
Support lead-scoring frameworks
Coordinate integrations between marketing and sales systems
Work with technical teams on platform integrations
Support API and data-transfer requirements
Manage marketing automation workflows
Develop automated campaign journeys
Review email automation and nurture programmes
Monitor automation errors and system issues
Coordinate platform troubleshooting
Maintain user permissions and system access
Support implementation of new marketing tools
Manage marketing technology documentation
Maintain campaign naming and tracking conventions
Support implementation of UTM tracking standards
Coordinate conversion-tracking requirements
Work with analytics teams on measurement frameworks
Develop dashboards for marketing performance
Monitor campaign and channel KPIs
Review lead-generation and conversion performance
Analyse marketing-funnel performance
Monitor customer acquisition metrics
Review cost-per-lead and cost-per-acquisition trends
Support marketing attribution analysis
Prepare weekly and monthly marketing reports
Develop management reporting packs
Present marketing operational performance to stakeholders
Support marketing budget monitoring
Track campaign expenditure against forecasts
Review agency and technology-platform costs
Support annual marketing planning and budgeting
Maintain supplier and platform records
Coordinate relationships with marketing technology vendors
Support data-protection and consent-management processes
Maintain accurate marketing documentation
Lead continuous improvement of marketing operations

Leadership and Management Responsibilities

Coordinate marketing operations specialists, analysts and campaign staff
Establish priorities across operational activities
Review team workloads and deadlines
Provide guidance on CRM and automation processes
Develop consistent marketing operations standards
Coach team members on reporting and data-quality practices
Support professional development within the marketing team
Lead operational planning meetings
Coordinate cross-functional marketing projects
Maintain clear accountability for campaign delivery
Escalate significant operational or system risks
Promote data-driven decision-making
Support recruitment and onboarding of marketing team members
Improve collaboration between marketing, sales and technology teams
Champion effective use of marketing technology

Qualifications and Experience

Degree or professional qualification in Marketing, Business, Digital Marketing, Analytics or a related subject
At least four years of experience in marketing operations, digital marketing, CRM or marketing technology
Experience managing marketing processes across multiple campaigns
Practical experience with CRM systems
Experience with marketing automation platforms
Strong understanding of digital marketing channels
Experience developing marketing reports and dashboards
Strong understanding of campaign tracking
Experience managing lead-generation processes
Knowledge of marketing funnels and customer journeys
Experience working with sales and commercial teams
Strong analytical and numerical ability
Advanced Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills
Experience interpreting marketing-performance data
Strong process-development and documentation skills
Excellent organisational and project-management abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong stakeholder-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to lead cross-functional projects
Strong attention to detail
