We are looking forward to employing someone who fits in well with our fantastic team.

Market Street is a busy 8 surgery practice based in the centre of Wigan, treating both NHS and private patients.

The job would ideally be full-time hours but part time would be considered.

Pay can be discussed at the interview, reflecting skills and experience.

Job Overview

We are seeking a hardworking and caring Dental Receptionist/Administrator to join our dental practice. This role will help maintain our welcoming environment for patients while ensuring the smooth operation of daily administrative tasks. As the first point of contact, you will handle patient interactions and appointment scheduling amongst other tasks to contribute to the smooth running of the practice.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and professionally
Manage appointment scheduling
Handle patient check-in and check-out procedures
Answer phone calls, providing information, scheduling appointments, and addressing inquiries
Maintain accurate patient records, update files
Assist with billing and payment collection
Support office operations, managing correspondence, and coordinating with dental staff as needed

Requirements

Previous experience working in a healthcare setting, ideally Dental
Good communication skills
An enthusiastic and caring attitude
Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office and SOE ideally

Pay: From £12.80 per hour

Work Location: In person
