Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional service to our guests in a dynamic hospitality environment. The successful candidate will have a passion for delivering excellent customer experiences and possess relevant skills in food and beverage service. Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is advantageous, along with a strong understanding of food safety standards. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a vibrant team.

Duties

Welcome guests and take their orders with professionalism and courtesy
Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring presentation standards are maintained
Assist with food preparation and presentation as required
Clear tables promptly and maintain cleanliness of the dining area
Replenish supplies and ensure the bar area is stocked appropriately
Follow food safety and hygiene procedures at all times
Support the team during catering events or special functions
Handle customer queries or complaints politely and effectively
Assist with setting up event spaces or dining areas before service

Skills

Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality roles is preferred
Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
Barista experience or familiarity with coffee preparation is a plus
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
A friendly, approachable manner with a professional attitude
Basic food preparation skills are desirable but not essential
