Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Holiday Home Cleaner to prepare and maintain our properties between guest stays. You will play a key role in ensuring every guest arrives to a spotless, welcoming home, directly contributing to positive reviews and repeat bookings.

Key Responsibilities

Thoroughly clean and prepare holiday properties between guest checkouts and check-ins, working to tight turnaround schedules
Clean all rooms to a high standard, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas
Change and replace bed linen, towels, and guest supplies
Report any damage, maintenance issues, or missing items to the property manager
Restock consumables such as toiletries, cleaning products, and kitchen essentials
Conduct a final walkthrough to ensure the property meets presentation standards before guest arrival
Follow property-specific checklists and cleaning protocols
Occasionally assist with laundry, ironing, and linen management

Requirements

Previous cleaning experience, ideally in a holiday let, hotel, or hospitality setting
Strong attention to detail and high personal standards
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Flexible availability, including weekends and bank holidays
Reliable transport, as properties may be in rural or dispersed locations
Good communication skills for reporting issues promptly
Physically able to carry out cleaning duties, including lifting and repetitive tasks
