Sales Administrator – Phenna Infrastructure Division

Location: Office based in Leicester with occasional travel to meetings with colleague UK wide is expected.
Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours)
Reporting to: Sales Director – Infrastructure Division
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Job Summary:
Phenna Infrastructure is seeking a highly organised and commercially minded Sales Operations Coordinator to support sales activity across multiple operating companies within the division.

Reporting directly to the Sales Director, this role will act as a central support function across the division, helping sales teams spend more time selling while ensuring CRM data, reporting, bids, proposals, and sales processes are managed effectively. The position offers exposure to multiple businesses across the group and provides a strong platform for future career progression into commercial, sales, or operational roles.

The role is ideally suited to someone currently working in a Sales Support Coordinator, Sales Operations, Commercial Support, Bid Support, CRM Administrator, or Business Development Support position who is looking to take on broader responsibilities and gain exposure to senior stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the central support function for sales and business development teams across the Infrastructure Division.
Maintain and manage CRM data, ensuring accuracy and supporting users across the business.
Produce sales reports, dashboards, pipeline analysis, and performance metrics.
Coordinate bids, proposals, tenders, and framework opportunities.
Support the creation of presentations, capability statements, project profiles, and sales collateral.
Track actions from sales meetings and follow up with stakeholders to ensure completion.
Liaise with internal departments including Finance, Credit Control, and Master Data Management (MDM) teams.
Analyse sales data and identify trends, issues, and opportunities for further investigation.

Essential Criteria

Experience in a Sales Support, Sales Administration, CRM Administration, Sales Operations, or Business Development Support role.
Strong CRM system experience (NetSuite experience advantageous but not essential).
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce professional documentation and proposals.
Comfortable working with sales data, reports, KPIs, and pipeline information.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Desirable Criteria

Degree educated or able to demonstrate strong analytical capability.
Experience supporting bids, tenders, or proposals.
Familiarity with procurement portals such as Contracts Finder or Jaggaer.
Experience within professional services, engineering, consultancy, or technical sectors.
Understanding of sales processes, sales funnels, and business development activities.
