Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our professional culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting the overall operation of the kitchen. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your culinary expertise within a dynamic and reputable establishment. The Chef de Partie will work closely with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with recipes and quality standards
Ensure all food preparation meets safety and hygiene regulations, including food safety protocols
Assist in the organisation and management of specific sections within the kitchen
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, including equipment and utensils
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control to ensure ingredients are available for service
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service periods
Support meal presentation to ensure visual appeal aligns with restaurant standards
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of food and equipment

Experience

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, particularly in a similar role such as Demi Chef or Commis Chef
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Experience in meal preparation across various cuisines is advantageous
Familiarity with serving techniques and customer service principles is beneficial
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
